There has been much outrage at the program for the 2020 Canberra Writer’s Festival for its lack of diversity and focus beyond local writers. This post examines the friction between the cultural and business aspects of book marketing.
How will our cities look and feel after the virus is gone? Will we act in the same way - or will major differences appear across industries and in different neighbourhoods?
The COVID19 downturn is revealing the true colours of business owners (and customers) worldwide. The survivng firms (regardless of industry) that develop and build upon a reputation for making a difference will come out of this crisis in far better shape. They will also help to determine what sort of future world exists .
